changes and patience
for the past few days i have been trying to bottlefeed jay but my son loves his breast too much.it breaks my heart to see him cry so much in his attempt to refuse the bottle.am so worried coz am going back to work in 3 weeks time and am wondering what will happen then.it truly is a stressful time.hope the Lord will provide a solution.

Wa! Our stubborn sons!! He probably knows you're around so he wont have the bottle if mommy's breast is there. Ebu try leaving him with someone else (someone he knows) for like an hour or more and leave him some breast-milk in a bottle.
ReplyDeleteI used to do that...I'd leave Josh with my siz or my mom, fill up the bottles and then go shopping for more than half the day. They told me that he'd cry for awhile, sleep, wake up crying and then take to the bottle like it was mommy's boobies!
He got so used to me leaving that he'd finish his milk early. my siz would start calling me up to hurry back home.
It's tough but am sure he'll get used to you leaving and he'll also start using the bottle.
I'll pray for you too. Am sure you'll miss him sooo much. :-))
