Psalm 29. Give to the Lord, Glory and strength. Ascribe to the Lord
the glory due His name. Worship Him in the splendor of His holiness!!
These are the words in my heart today as I wake. It's early and a
neighbour's rooster just can't stop crowing!! I can hear JJ tossing in
his bed. Soon he'll be up asking me to pray. He knows it's Sunday and
he'll say "Mom, let's go... Church!", then he'll tell me of the church
bell that goes "ding-dong"! He impresses me and he sure gives me joy
to know that he's learning about God and His son Jesus!!
I need to get up and get ready because I need to be in church early
for practice. One of the things that I added to my schedule late last
year was being in the praise and worship team where my heart fills up
with joy, praise and thanksgiving to my God and King.
This is the day that the Lord has made, it's a beautiful day, we have
breath, we get to enjoy his beauty yet again... So, let us rejoice and
be glad in Him!! :-)
